Our Story

Shivaranjini School of Music was born from a deep passion for Carnatic music - one of the world's oldest and richest musical traditions. Rooted in the cultural heartland of Thrikkariyoor, Kothamangalam, our school is a sanctuary for those who wish to experience the divine connection between music, devotion, and discipline.

Founded by Jayanthi D, who has dedicated her life to music and teaching for over 30 years, the school is built on a lifetime of passion and commitment to Carnatic music. Holding an MA in Music, Jayanthi D brings both deep academic knowledge and rich performance experience to every student she nurtures - from beginners to advanced learners.
